Koch - Velour "Secunda", possibly later 1950s and a recent arrival. I only have one other Koch - Velour and it's a Trachten Hat.

Today for a gray and windy day I chose a French hat from the 1950s, perhaps it is from the late 1940s, but in any case it has a very elegant appearance and can be seen from the finishes.
Cambridge Flechet 4.jpg
It is part of a trio of Flechets who are all grey, but none of them are the same.

Flechet de Luxe - Super Flechet. Size 60cm. or 7 1/2 in the US.

The color of the felt is "Cambridge" the quality is identified as "Nec Plus Ultra".
It arrived new in Italy between 2015-16 in the fantastic discovery of those years.

Happy Saturday everyone, thanks for your likes and compliments on the hats you post every day.

A two Homburg day. First a black Brummel’s for the 6th graders’ graduation ceremony.

Later, it was a Dobbs for a Thank-you dinner thrown by the parents of the graduating classes.

It was great to spend some time with the parents, telling them a bit about what went on during the trip to Australia, drinking, laughing, and a few tears were also shed.
The Brummel’s is probably a slightly nicer felt, but I love the colours of the Dobbs.

Both very nice, but I agree that the coloring on that Dobbs is stunning!
