Did you get that 26 degrees the other day? One of my older kids lives down ‘by you’. Messed up a bunch of her plants
I don’t know how far up north from me she is, but we haven’t had anything close to freezing in a two months. I’m right on the border of Florida. I bought a vintage Case knife recently and the seller from northern Alabama couldn’t get to the PO from ice and snow.

Unusual for me, but there were two hats worn today. Puttering around in my garage and side yard this morning, it was cold, but not cold enough for one of my heavy-duty watch caps, so I opted for my 60s-era Strat. Just enough to keep my short-haired noggin warm.

Later, it was out to lunch, and taking my wife to a couple of medical appointments, so I chose my 6X Serratelli Catt4, to match the Treasure Valley's grey skies.

I have very much enjoyed my early mornings this last week during the freeze. It’s refreshing to stand out in the quiet chill of 10F degrees (-12C) - this morning under the brim of a Dobbs homburg.

We saw some ice melt yesterday but it is obviously all frozen over again today and still too dangerous to venture out into.

The size tag on this fellow was printed upside down.

The dark moss VS today. It hardly ever gets any head time. The dimensional brim drives me insane and I don’t like wearing my brim down. It was my first custom hat, I didn’t know any better. It’s a shame, I absolutely love the color and the feel of the felt.

I must differ with your assessment, good sir. I find that an AWESOME hat, and would gladly rock it, just as it is, anywhere and anytime!!! But, I am sorry that it doesn't please you as much as it does me. I've parted with more than a few over the years that I'm sure other people thought highly of.

And, as a northerner, I’m really impressed with your consistent appreciation of that refreshing cold air, @The Lost Cowboy! I’m with you!!

Stetsonian today.
Glad to meet another cold weather lover! You get a lot more of it up in your area than we do around my parts, so I have to bask in it whenever I can.

Wonderful Stetsonian, by the way, and I like those sunnies you’re sporting, too. Are those clip ons?
