A new bout of Covid has kept me housebound since Friday evening, so I haven't been able to join in the Stingymas festivities as much as I would have liked.

This evening, I thought I'd just go for it inside.

At 4cm (1.6 inches) this modern Borsalino is the stingiest brim I own.

Hopefully, I'll be out and about by Thursday. Happy Stingymas folks!

Sorry to hear that, Steve. I hope it’s not knocking you around too badly. Love the shape on the hat, and the double ribbon is very cool.

Hope you're feeling better ASAP, Steve!

As a random aside, I noticed that hat on Mike Dirnt from the band Green Day a while back. The dual tone ribbon is distinctive.

Thank you, Jared, appreciate that.

I believe that guy is wearing the same Borsalino. Brim up as opposed to my brim down. Works either way on this one.

Stingymas day 7:
I chose my other stingy JBS 20 for this wonderfully cold day in Alabama (it’s supposed to get down in the twenties again tonight - fantastic!)

I don’t like this one as much as the one I showed a few days back. This fellow is a size too small for me but beyond that the felt is somehow not as inspiring.

Still fun enough for Stingymas, though.

Absolutely wonderful inside and out, Randall.

What a hat! Love all the details.

You got all kind of nice hats in my size. That one would fit me perfect! And I even like the color!

I can see why it’s a favorite, Randall.
Thanks, fellas!
For sure, very blessed to end up with this fine Knox box ticker!
Has every bell and whistle a vintage fedora could have and the cherry on top is owning it for only a 1/4 of it’s value!

Hope you get better, Steevo!!

Akubra Homburg in acorn; one of my first hat purchases as I was first getting into hats in the early days of the 2020 lockdowns.

Ribbon needs a good steam! Currently re-configuring the collection to avoid stacking (and subsequent ribbon distortion).
