That’s a real beauty! Great find.My new aquisition just came in the mail today. I picked this up for a song from a lady on the internet and it's absolutely a beauty.
It was her father in laws hat that he had since new. Not sure, but I believe he may have hardly ever wore it or never at all. The color is a beautiful blue shade. Even came with the original box but that was pretty trashed to say the least. In the box was a wrapped Muriel cigar and a plastic rain cover with the original paper work for the cover. Hard to find size 7 3/8. Hope I'm posting pics of this in the correct forum.

Beautiful hat. That wide binding is incredible.
Any chance of seeing the tags/labels behind the sweatband?
We have a dedicated thread to show off new hats, and we have a Stetsonian thread….no harm done, but you might consider adding to an existing thread rather than starting a new one. Just sort of the way it’s done around here. Just a thought.
I hate my user name: please call me Brent. Hat size 61-62cm

Thank you, I really appreciate the advice. I was on the Stetsonian thread but wasn't sure I wa on the correct forum as there were other hats mentioned and shown. But good advice, I'll post the pics there. I'll get some more photos of the tags and labels.

Daniele, Thank you! I hope I can find more. I am always looking.Dire fantastico è poco!
Steve these are the Borsalino I like more and they are more and more scarce even in Italy
It makes a nice look on you Marcel. I’m thinking this might be what Stefan refers to as Cambered. Upturned and somewhat rigid… but not as defined a curl as an homburg or lords.Mossant homburg (not really a homburg) in brown. I'm not the biggest fan of homburgs, but I like this hat! It's not to formal i think.
It's between a fedora and homburg, you can't snap the brim in front.

Thanks Joe. Yes Cambered is the right definition i think. A homburg/lordhat is definitely more curled. It makes a nice look on you Marcel. I’m thinking this might be what Stefan refers to as Cambered. Upturned and somewhat rigid… but not as defined a curl as an homburg or lords.
Cambers tend though to be able to be worn brim up or down, so there's usually some give in them. They're stiff, but not that stiff. It makes a nice look on you Marcel. I’m thinking this might be what Stefan refers to as Cambered. Upturned and somewhat rigid… but not as defined a curl as an homburg or lords.
Now that's a felt to make you happy! Gorgeous, Steve.
