Thanks, Bob. Alan says late 1930s but I can’t see even a trace of a lot number?
What!!! No Lot#??
Maybe it’s a pre-Lot# or a post-Lot#??
Or could it be an illusive interim pre-post rollover Lot#??
Inquiring minds wanna know.
(Sorry, couldn’t help myself)

I’m going early Playboy and one heck of a hat, Brent. In your size a true unicorn of unicorns!

Thanks, B. I spend a lot of time looking and not so much finding. It’s hats like these that keep the search fun.

In the Playboy thread, Alan said he could see part of the lot number in one of my photos, and thinks if could be a 1930s hat. I’ll take that!

Still summer here (forecast high of 90F). Unlined Royal Stetson Playboy as I visit the headache specialist.

Headache specialist Bob? I used to get excruciating headaches, so bad that they made me vomit. A new doctor in the practice that we went to back then, suggested migraine, she was right. She gave me the number of the migraine sufferers association. There I discovered that migraine can be triggered by certain foods, not for every sufferer, but it is a known cause. Omitting certain foods was life changing. I owe much to that doctor. I do hope that you get help with your headaches.

"Wear your new hat for me," Tina suggested this morning as I was getting the car keys to go on an errand for her, "go on," she coaxed, "it will suit that shirt." So I put my new hat on, actually it fits so well that I forgot all about red hats. My barber even commented that I have a new hat when I stopped by to make an appointment for later in the week.

I feel for you Bob on the migraines. My wife has suffered from them ever since one of her epidurals during child birth went a little haywire. Tried everything in the past 30 years to no avail. If you find something successful pass it on. She’s pretty durn tough tho, a helluva a lot tougher than me. One thing I’ve learned for sure after 40 plus years marriage I ain’t anywhere tough enough to have been born a female.

Mixed it up a little over the weekend with my Weather Hat Co. BoP, Falcon Park Hattery black cherry Laird, Buckaroo Hatters Sahara crossover, and wore my own charcoal western on stage for this rock and roll concert. I think it worked pretty well up on the stage.

Thanks Greg -- I'll pass along any successes. I've been using naratriptans and sumatriptans with some success for years. One of the new drugs I'll be trying is a once-a-month self-injection for prevention. Not sure which one yet -- waiting to see which one my insurance covers.

And I agree on the women being tougher.
