A modern Christy's, picked up for a song on eBay last year. Not a particularly special hat, but nice to throw on when I fancy a brimmed hat that feels a bit more casual. Mostly of note because today was the first day in a very long time on which it was possible for me to even think about wearing felt. Feels like flexing a muscle I've not been able to move in a long time.

New late 40s/early 50s Whippet; a large sized 7 1/8 LO. 1 1/2” hat band. Gray felt with a blue hue that is better represented in the underside photo, per usual, and wish I understood why that happens when using a camera.
Just needed a simple one day stretch to fit just fine. I like it when all I have to do is shape the crown to my liking, but a dry stretch isn’t a bad thing either.

Won’t be long and it’ll be listed on eBay, as I plan to start selling a great portion of my hats this winter. Too many is just too many.
For me, I’ve definitely found my too many number.
