I just had a total knee replacement about 11 days ago so I'm not doing much with hats for now until I recover just a little bit more. If anyone's contemplating knee surgery, it's a breeze, for me at least. Three days out, I was walking around my house without aid. My surgery was outpatient and the hospital PT had me up and walking on a walker shortly after waking up in recovery. Just thought I'd throw that out there for those who may be facing the same surgery but are putting it off for one reason or another. Anyway, here's a reposting of a 3X Resistol I refurbished a couple or so years ago. I reblocked it, gave it a new ribbon, reshaped the brim , and creased it with a Montana Pinch and a Mule Kick in the back. Older pictures from a couple of years ago...

Great news Terry!!!!
Glad the surgery went well and that recovery [for the most part!] has been going well.
I truly look forward to more of your great fedora conversions!!!

:edit to add:
I still love the looks of your fedora conversion with the vent holes in it!

Good to hear you're bouncing back nicely, Terry. I've been surprised at how smoothly such surgeries have gone for several friends of mine.

A Mallory Aristocrat, great hat, great description, the reserved seating suggests that I should doff my hat, whilst the lite ale, well it's not exactly champagne, is it? Cracking hat though!
Certainly the Mallory out punches the Miller Lite. Nice moss green today

Not as many as usual, but it was a strange week workwise. The week in hats.

Whoa! Surprisingly though-given there are two great velours on the menu- I would pick the Cervo had to go with one. Please do me a favor and talk our good Italian friend up to find me one exactly like that ;)

You're right, I've been to Copenhagen, they are a strange lot. How they deal with a 50's Borsalino I cannot think. But I, good sir, think that hat is impeccable.

Thanks Robert.

Let me know if you ever come to Copenhagen again. We could meet up.

Not sure why you think Copenhagers are a strange lot. No stranger than Londoners for a Yorkshire boy like me :)

Fabulous Resistol refurb, Terry.

Hope your knee op continues to be as successful as it started out.

Take care of yourself, my friend!
