Been wearing my modern hemp Stratoliner a lot lately. I must say I do not find the hemp particularly cooler that a good thin unlined felt.....but they look the part anyway. On this one I threw a circa 1950 woven pug over the ribbon.....gives it a nice look I think...inspired by these 1949 ads.

My new Sunbody is getting a lot of wear on the weekends.

The pizza was cooked outdoors, but Etsuko was not keen to venture out into the heat, so dinner was had indoors.
The heat dissipated and it was a beautiful evening to sit outside with some wine and a good book. Now in my Tula palm straw.

Working on a possible trans-Atlantic hat exchange and will be taking some pictures later today, so I figured I'd check in with this old Stetson:

It's NBD! New bottle...new boater...no big deal.

Yesterday afternoon's shenanigans were under a VS panama hat.

It was a deliciously cool early morning and I wore a Stetson *******.

Morning errands had me under a spiral stitched brim Stetson.

No felt hat for my morning escapades with a chainsaw. Ball cap. An Old Guys Rule ball cap.

A shower, change of clothes and back to finish lopping the branches smaller. This tasks can be done in a felt Gannon (bone beaver felt).

I changed hats while preparing some fish on the grill that wll complete my fish stew for brunch. A Stetson Royal DeLuxe Open Road was my hat choice.
