Great looking GP clone
Great looking GP clone
Thank you, Steve. You are looking pretty cool under that pork pie. Like a Jazz musician! Some great looking modern hats, Reggie. Looking sharper than ever, too!
Oh yeah there is all kinds of information under the sweat band, the liner, the label, the color name, secret coding that only some guy in Verona can decipher. Ya got me. I just trust what I am told by guys on this forum. The guy who sold me the hat knew a whole lot more about hats than I will ever know.jonesy86, nice hat. How do you date the hat? I just wonder if the liners give a hint?
Love your photos!....and hats...and food...A bowler for shopping yesterday. Second time out for this Crosby and Co from Stefan.

It looks like you guys had a wonderful night out. The Crosby bowler is smashing, but that Mogal is an absolute show stopper!A bowler for shopping yesterday. Second time out for this Crosby and Co from Stefan.

Thanks, Brent. I was pretty nervous about getting the bowler, but it seems to work ok. The kind words from you and other loungers do wonders for the confidence! Not sure I need a second one, though……although the brown bowlers do appeal…don’t tell my wife! You wear them all well, Gary, but that bowler looks fantastic. It’s not a style I’ve been able to get comfortable under, but it looks great on you.
Thank you. You have been going back quite a bit to find these!Nice, I just purchased two vintage Rogers and Peet Borsalinos both include the Rogers and Peet hat boxes. One only has the Roger and Peet label on the liner. Now waiting for their arrival.
Fabulous, David. The Savoy is one of Borsalino's best models. It has been cloudy and grey for a while here so I dressed for the occasion.

I think it looks great on you, Gary. Its previous owner was blown away when I told him his bowler now resides in Japan and gets regular wear. Wonderful photos (and food!).A bowler for shopping yesterday. Second time out for this Crosby and Co from Stefan.

…and my take on Buffalo wings. I’ve never actually had Buffalo wings. I adapted a recipe from the internet - the sauce is made with my homemade sauce of fermented habaneros, onions and garlic mixed with a store bought red habanero sauce, honey and butter. No idea how “Buffalo” it was, but it was damn good!

Excellent parade Stefan of hats and matching outfits! What else to say?Didn't comment on all the magnificent hats that were on display this week. Everyone sure brought their A-game along. Let's see if I can add anything to the mix. This week in hats.
