Was I a good boy this year? There are conflicting opinions, but all in all, yes!

I received an unexpected gift from Norway: Borsalino Qualità Superiore that my friend Panos added to an exchange.
View attachment 386421 Interesting and curious is the color of the hat sold in cold Norway: Morello, which is the most bizarre color in the Borsalino range.

Interpreted by the dyers of Alexandria in various ways, some time ago there was a parade to see the differences

Is this time the color you see in the photo, equivalent to that of the coat of a Morello horse?

Here you find more on the horse "Murgese" you see in the picture

Another great Borsalino! Cool color.

Here are a few of the hats worn this week. This particular brand seems to be rather popular in a lot of the shops in my region of the Northeast these days. I have to say their velour felt feels comfy and it appears to be a sturdy hat for the chilly weather, they also come in all sorts of wild colors if that’s your pleasure.

Playing some catch up because I've been too lazy to post pics.

Thursday a week ago, a BGGCD...

Last Sunday, my wife and I attended the wedding of one of our closest friends' daughters. It was held at a beautiful old monestery and we spent the night in Cincy so some of us could gather for breakfast in the morning (and take the day off work). This photo of my wife and me was taken at the Netherlands hotel in Cincinnati, a stunning example of Art Deco. She is in her D'Aquino I built up as an Agent Carter hat, I'm in a 3X Selv-Edge I recently got from @Bamaboots.

This Wednesday I was in a Dalton "Waverly."

Yesterday, another D'Aquino I tore down, reblocked and rebuilt some time ago.

Some great looking modern hats, Reggie. Looking sharper than ever, too!

Some classic looking hats, Jim. On a side note, the penny has finally dropped as to what the initials BGGCD stand for. I thought it was an obscure banjo tuning :)

I really like the color combos on the Dalton!

Nice, I just purchased two vintage Rogers and Peet Borsalinos both include the Rogers and Peet hat boxes. One only has the Roger and Peet label on the liner. Now waiting for their arrival.

Nice—my dad was a lifelong Rogers and Peet customer and took me there for my first jacket and tie when I was a kid. Post pics!
