Temps are coming down just a bit. Tatton Baird pure beaver Country Gentleman. Ye Coyote, this one sports a dogbone and double mule kick crease. Perfect for morning coffee time. ;)

Excellent! Your Miami sure did better than my Green Bay. :(

a fine looking hat Ken. Green Bay was a surprise for sure. But it’s a long way to go… we shall see.

That's what I call a succes. I have three unfinished panama hat-bodies sitting on the hself at my hatter's, so inspiration is always welcome. I do miss your own precious smile though.;)
Thanks Stefan!
The cold season is a good time to think about how you want those straws finished!
And remember, despite any outward grimacing or dog masks, I'm always smiling on the inside... :)

Sunday early morning dog soirée wearing a "St.Lawrence by the makers of the Brock." Another pre 40's Hurley's Canadian fedora. Overwelt is excellent.

Morning and afternoon found me in a cap.

A visit to Hawk's Ridge in order to view the 2021 raptor migration. By 1:00pm 3,248 raptors had been seen.

A Cordova cap made from Magee Donegal wool was perfect for the cool and breezy weather on the bluffs and lake shore.

Lunch was a smoked lake trout.

A visit to Jay Cooke State Park in the afternoon made apparent the lack of rainfall in the area.

The St.Louis River usually is fast with white water. On this day it was about 1/2 as high with still areas.

This mornings dog adventure was made wearing a Borsolino. This Escosa is in the color Mufalone. It is a luxurious long haired felt.

A medium brown Royal Stetson I picked up from Brent @deadlyhandsome a while back. Yellow-gold trim. This one has tape on the liner, so it has obviously been cleaned and/or reworked. The felt at the front crease is thin but the felt is light and crushable and overall, the hat is consistent with my Stratoliners of similar vintage. I picked this one up as a grab-n-go hat and it fits the bill just fine. Lightweight and easy to wear. I've been keeping this one by the front door and it has been getting a lot of wear recently. Thanks Brent.
