Great St. Lawrence Eric. I love everything about this hat!!

Thanks for the hat compliment.

Gorgeous Brock Eric!

Thanks for the hat compliment. The Brock and Lawerence are from that recent 30-40's Canadian manufacturer hat find, (Hurley Canada). Great fortune to be able to aquire a few of these grand members of hat history.

Yesterday, the Gannon Mr. Natural.

That is the perfect hat for first day adventures. On with the show....

A dressy straw with similar sewn plait construction to the rolled brim Dobbs posted the other day, but this one is stiff as a ...boater. From a store located in the old Pennsylvania Station, c.1920s.

The pic of the interior and leather sweat show the hat to appear to be very comfy wearing.

What a end to August with the viewing of your boaters. Grand hats sir. Thanks for sharing.

Alan, you do not get enough money or royalties for your informed posts, dynamite historic hats and gorgeous pics. I vote a significant raise for you to be distributed to your grandchild.

cheers, Eric -

Quiet overcast day today. Kids going back to school this week. Took a few minutes to chill on the front porch. At 90’s Biltmore I still not sure I like. Put a rough pork pie in it yesterday to go with the Magpie feather I found.
