My engine runs high and fast. I am self-aware enough to recognize that I can become an irritant to those around me with my energy and intensity.

Administration/ paperwork was done mid-afternoon and I headed out to move a post while wearing a blue fedora.

This Monson fedora is a deep blue. The under brim pic captures the hue well.

The six gills are well done. I like the "puffier" gilled appearance. They begin with a wider gill and then a consistent size. Attractive I think.

The brim edge stitching is excellent.

Beautiful day like any other this week. Cold night and day gives us a blazing sun.

Today I had time to brush up on a Borsalino I wore once, maybe. It comes from the shop of "Matthias Hutter" in Merano and was brought to Verona a few years ago

Because of me he got lost in the closet and today, accomplice the quiet morning I put it back on

Borsalino Qualità Victoria, size is 7 so a 61 cm. in EU and a 7 3/4 US, but it is a real 7 1/2

Felt color is "Aureola" (Aureole) and the ribbon is "Bulgaro". The felt is thick and malleable, the brim are curled in tone with the felt and the ribbon is brown, in contrast with the pale yellow of the felt.

I can say, with joy, that today I discovered this Borsalino arrived in a new old stock and for my short-sightedness remained all too closed in the closet

In Italy the name of this Borsalino is "Icaro" and it is very light and floppy. Ideal for the springtime or the first autumn.
I have two and they are perfect for days with a mellow temperature. Not now because we are in a "early summer" week. Too hot for the end of April

Looks good, Rick. Can we see the label on that one? Don't think I have the "icaro" model yet.
