That has all the ingredients I love in hats, Daniele. No wonder it is a classic.

Today a splendid sunny day and then, after three years sleeping a peaceful sleep, here it is the first of the lobbia Borsalino

This is one of the best hats I own :) For the first time I wear it because its time has come
View attachment 304340
Borsalino Qualità Extra Superiore size 6 1/2 even if inside it is labeled 7, in fact it is slightly wide.
View attachment 304341 The felt is a feather and super malleable, its color is "Airone" the ribbon is "Aligi" and the type of hat is "Ledasti". It comes from the large "Matthias Hutter" deposit in Merano and is probably one of the oldest among the remains that I have cataloged and evaluated
View attachment 304342 Maybe someone will think I should have worn it immediately, instead I kept it for its day which is today, however I will photograph it alone, for lovers of Borsalino hats.
The shape and ribbon are unique and was probably made in the 1920s.

It's good to be one of a kind! Hope I look as classy as that APN when I'm 90 years old.

Anton Peschel Neutitschein (APN) possibly mid 1930s late 1920s. This is the only Anton Peschel Neutitschein Stiff Felt I have and as far as I know the only one here on the FL. I don't believe I have encountered another one.

The above APN Stiff Felt has the same APN Crest.

Great hat but the coat steals the show !!

Let's continue the exposition of the "lobbia" made by Borsalino over the years.

Today we celebrate Stefan in the Netherlands who received an identical one a few years older.

Borsalino Qualità Extra Superiore size 6 1/2 or 7 1/2 in the US. The color of the felt is "Lupo", no other indication on the paper label.
View attachment 305227
It comes from the "Matthias Hutter" shop in Merano.
The felt is very malleable and the perfect fit. As you can see the shape is more rounded than the more "profiled" one shown a few days ago.

The differentiates the age and tastes of the public. The previous one was from the thirties, this one from the sixties.

Good day everyone and thanks for your likes.
