Very interesting. It looks warm, and it definitely has a lot of style. I remember my father had a similar type of coat hanging in the closet when I was a youngster. I wish I had it now.Thanks Reggie. The coat is labeled Juster Bros, one of the premiere menswear/sporting goods stores in Mpls. Quite likely manufactured by BW Harris in St Paul. Harris was one of the pioneers in this storm coat design. They seem to have been popular from the mid-40s to the early mid 50s. They were generally made from a wool and rayon blend gabardine. Early ones had a shearling lining, but most models had an alpaca pile lining, as this one does. Mouton collars and lapels. I understand that Nixon wore a BW Harris model on his visit to the Great Wall in China in 1972, I'm very fond of the style myself and I have one by, if I recall, Lakeland, in a tan gabardine.
