Another hat formed by machines as theme of the week
Panizza De luxe Camoscio prima.jpg

This is a wonderful example of preformed and fairly well finished felt with a "suede" finish from the historic Panizza - Ghiffa factory on Lago Maggiore.

They are, like the others presented in the theme of the week, facing hats that are the production of the waning Italian industry.

The linings, beautiful, are glued, the sweatbands of medium quality, the felt is often of excellent quality.
Panizza De luxe Camoscio 7.jpg

This Panizza De Luxe size 60 cm. or 7 1/2 US is in medium gray felt with a very malleable suede finish and with tone on tone ribbon and raw brim.

I wish you a happy Thursday.
Thanks for the likes and congratulations to all of you for the variety and quality of your hats.

This 3X whippet is very special, It's a bit like 2018 Stetson whippet.
Crown is not that good when I get it, but now it's perfect, after I reblocked it.
Welcome, Huang. That is a fantastic looking Whippet. I like the reddish-brown color contrast of the ribbon and brim binding to the brown felt and, of course, the complimentary accent feather for the finishing touch. Well done.

Thank you, You got the detail, I choose this wine red feather to match the wine red ribbon.

I agree with Reggie: this is how white tie is done. I don’t appreciate modern spins or reinterpretations of formal attire. Simple, elegant, and in complete harmony. I wish I had opportunity to occasionally wear formal attire.
Thank you for sharing this with us.
