O goody goody. I think I saw that one on offer, but didn't bid in the end (not my size). Great hat, Héctor.

Borsalino Qualitá Speciale View attachment 209878 View attachment 209879 . They called this one Ontano and the colour Stura. Just gotta love Borsalino names. Have a good weekend folks.
Huzzah! Great to see you back, Steve. Killer outfit.

Wearing my Black Bradford Western Longhair conversion this a.m. It sports a tall straight crown with a tight pinch and a 2 5/8 snap brim. The matching black ribbon is 1 1/2 inches wide with a slight upswoop to my bow work...

These pictures aren't the greatest but you can still get a pretty good idea of the hat's profile...

Very cool, Terry. That wider ribbon suits it very well.

Hmmm, that's nice, Max!

Like @Michael A , a bit of powdery stuff is falling on Funkytown.

And on this Knox Superfine.

DOS rocked...you had to know how to talk computer and not just point and click. The dance was elegant, melodic, you had to know where you were going and not “play-solve”, plus you could go outside for a smoke, etc while it ran without anyone bustin your b***s
GUI was the beginning of the want it now society. That and McDonalds. Lol

My new 40s Stylepark. Got it last week for $55. Sewed the ribbon and bow on today using hidden stitching. What do you all think about this woven edge grosgrain? I’d rather have the finished edge stuff, but can’t find various colors and widths on the web. Does anyone know where I can go to get some?
I plan to sew brim binding on this one, too, but want the right ribbon.
I could use the polyester ribbon but would rather not. I’ve found a way to force the poly to bend around the brim without puckers, but cotton/rayon would be best.

That's a wonderful looking Borsa! No wonder she looks so happy.

Think of the lounge as a place of pilgrimage, Steve. That comes with a bit of suffering, but think of the rewards;)

It's not so much the suffering Stefan, it's the freaking frustration. It takes so long, it's not intuitive, and most of all not easy to navigate from one followed thread to another. Sigh!
However, you guys are worth it

What, a reactionary on The Fedora Lounge? Say it isn’t so. :)

next thing you know people won’t be growing their own food and using those car things to get around. ;)

Glad you feel that way! I have never tried anything else than using the lounge from a desktop, so maybe I'm used to the abuse:D

Don't let him fool you, @PanosChris, B is just being modest. Here's the trifecta:

Looks great, Randall. I'd leave it as is, but what do I know? You're the hat wizard. Nice job, my friend.

Steve,

Maybe you're already navigating this way, maybe not, but here's a quick and dirty tutorial. This is as appears on my iPad:

Hope this helps a bit to ease some frustration.
