The past evening required snow removal. Stormy Kromers fit under a down hood well and perform well under hard effort. I wore one hard, and let it dry inside while another gets effort. After the storm the temperatures drop, as usual. Brrrrr!

Wearing my 3X Stetson thin ribbon conversion very early this a.m. The sun was barely up so the picture quality isn't the greatest. I couldn't find matching thin ribbon for the brim binding so I left it raw edge. I'll change that if I'm lucky enough to come across any...

Livin' it up with some Carl Perkins Rockabilly!

Condolences Bob. Too much of that going around today. Most excellent hat though.

Sorry about Uncle Bud, Bob. Nice hat.

I am sorry for your loss my friend, my sincere condolences.

Sorry about the loss of your uncle, Bob.
Black Borsalino burg looks solemn and proper for the occasion. Hope someone wears a hat that nice at my funeral.

View attachment 206960 View attachment 206959 It seems there is a lot of grief going around for many here, in our own lives, the lives of those we love and those we know nothing of.

Condolences, Bob.
Great Borsa!

Sorry to hear of your loss, Bob.

Sorry for your loss, Bob.

First off ... Tom @St.Ignatz ... sorry for your loss. Thanks everyone for the condolences. Uncle "Bud" (James Virgil actually) was a cool country dude and a man of few words, but words with the best rural Missouri accent ever! A very honorable and hard-working farmer/rancher as well as an Air Force vet and musician. There were some neat old photos that I had never seen as part a the slide show at the funeral. As soon as my cousin sends them to me I'll share a few. Cowboy hats and rodeo action photos!

Wow. Your conversions are grand! I do like it without the binding edge.

Very little snow but an icy sheet to chip away at. Beret Basque Deluxe made in U.S.A.

You sport a beret well. Great hats of late. Your lightweight VS inspired a lightweight VS of mine. A thank you has been long in the coming - thanks.

Coldest day yet this winter, though all things considered it's finally getting closer to normal. Happy thoughts with Happy Socks and this Mayser Spezial courtesy of @steur:

The VS touch is glorious. Sharp hats the past days sir.

A Simonds Cap was my choice for doing shopping errands this morning. This Streamlined model drew compliments from the grocery store checkout line.

Once home I have started up the grill for lunch for my wife and dog. A vtg. Stetson Playboy has up to the task.

Thank you all for your likes and compliments yesterday, we very much appreciate it !

Brent, I guess it's because they own the style since the first one appeared as a woman's hat. Fact is, they always look better with just about everything in our eyes :)

Sunny today and pretty much the perfect winter day imo: sun and cold enough to wear my scarfs, coats and hats ;) Wearing one that I picked up just yesterday

Thank you Eric! I believe I'm kind of warming up to that raw edge. I gotta say, though, I'm really admiring that Playboy you're wearing. That is one fine looking Stetson. It's one of those hats that I have on my bucket list.
