Doug and family:
Prayers for a guided hand of healing, faith in the miracle of medicine and peace within that His Will be done.
On the 17th and always.
Be well kept. Bowen
Thanks very much, Bowen. I must admit, the closer the day gets, and the more details i learn about this, the more concerned i get.

Wearing my short brim Panizza Super (circa 1960s) for a meeting in Copenhagen today.

Went to see my Haberdasher this morning. He ordered in some fun "roaring 20s" suits. He thought they would just be for the various New Years Eve parties around town with the Twenties themes. Little did he know that this style would be a keeper for me. Never going to luck into a vintage one in my size, so this one really fits the bill. I wanted to see if I could pull off a gray hat with it so I wore my modern JP Stetson Whippet in Phantom Gray. A black homburg will also work well I think... Maybe a white (scary!) with a black ribbon treatment?

The last in a series of French heather hats that sleep in the same box
FlechetHetaher 7.jpg

Flechet size 59, no other indication in this semi-finished hat
FlechetHetaher 3.jpg

Like his brothers, he lacks the lining, but has the name of the hat house on the sweatband
FlechetHetaher 2.jpg

The heather felt of these gray-blue hats is very similar, minimally differing the amounts of gray and blue which are the variants
FlechetHetaher 5.jpg
Flechet has a softer felt. Morreton more consistent with very particular ribbons in both producers
FlechetHetaher 9.jpg

Thanks for the likes and kind words on the heather French
For the lovers of heather felts here a little comparison of the Flechet
Flechet GrigioE 3.jpg FlechetHetaher 7.jpg
and of the Morreton, made in the same period

Complimenti per i vostri cappelli
Have nice day!

Great looking hat, with enough brim to keep the snow off! Nice Christmas photos too.

Thanks, Randall.

Nice bumble.

Has Rudolph been drinking again?

Jim, the details elude me at the moment but I swear Rudolph was upright as Bodie and I stumbled through the neighborhood during the brief snow last evening. Then suddenly, he wasn't. When I got home SHE kept asking why I looked like i had been rolling in the snow and would I please stop singing Rudolph, the Red Nosed Reindeer.
