Dang! Stefan has a straw-eating cat. It's a good thing they are separated by a whole ocean.Well, I guess I know what hat I won't be wearing today...... had just steamed and shaped it. Left in on the upstairs gameroom table then went to watch a movie in the theater room. Came out to find pup pup with a mouthful of straw. <sigh> the look on my face scared the crap out of her and she took off running, smart. I needed a few minutes to regain my composure . Guess I have a new Jed Clampet hat.

Stefan, Thanks again! Super looking Borsalino "Gulaela" and Borsalino "Gorasgu"!A good thing we're in the season when all the velour hats come out to play. Another winner, Steve.
Thank you!I do love those German hats... fabulous.
Once you get the HAS bug Randall, ain't no stopping it [emoji4]. That's a great short brim Stetson. Love the chocolate coloured felt and brim, ribbon - bow colour combo.my hat for this afternoon ...

A sixties Stetson from eBay. I like this particular 2 1/4 brim.
In the last three weeks I’ve purchased four hats for an average price (including shipping cost)of 54 bucks apiece!
Not a bad deal, these days, considering the quality and styles I’ve ended up with.
I’ve shopped many, many hours over three weeks and thoroughly enjoyed myself, but I will be taking a break from buying hats for a while...maybe.
HEY! This forum is costing me money! (It feels great to have people to blame) (wish I had found y’all sooner.)
Hey, everyone is a victim in today’s world, right?
Because of y’all’s influence, I now have six new hats to enjoy (including the two I’ve rebuilt). Thanks FL!

Thanks Stefan! It's a good one, John. Apart from the rope ribbon it doesn't have the usual "trachten" look at all. Not much taper to the crown and tall enough. Nice!

HAS bug? What’s that stand for?
And whatever it is, I’m sure I’m suffering from a fatal dose of it!
Great looking Northwest, Bill. That double teardrop crease is outstanding.Northwest today for morning services.
