Beautiful! And as JP are my initials, I’m definitely going to have to check out this model!

The latest Japanese release even has reproduction keyhole tags and a Whippet box!

Very cool, love that ad. That Cadet Blue is amazing.

I have this one from a Sept 1941 issue of Life, and a Strat that was made in Nov, 1941. I'm framing it for a display. Wish it was for my color though.

Hagwood; Like you I appreciate the vintage advertisements. I have some framed and others waiting for my efforts to complete framing them. For me they provide context and inspiration.

M Hatman and the many contributors to the thread The Stetson Way Advertising - https://www.thefedoralounge.com/threads/the-stetson-way-advertising-and-ephemera-of-the-golden-era.92141/page-14 - have posted up oodles of cool advertisements. Lots of inspiration in this thread.

Here’s my newly styled flip up. A forties Royal Stetson de luxe. I’ve posted it here before, but last night I steamed the brim up and hope I can steel my nerve to keep it this way. So far, I’m digging it!

Looks good. To my eye, it looks more flat than snapped up.

Very cool, didn't know there was a thread for that. I will join in on that one, thanks.
