Unseasonably warm :( It’s almost like the climate is changing ;)

A vent like that could whistle if you walk fast enough.
I want one.

You and me both, Charlie. Enjoy the season.

Thanks Steve. The Stetson dates from before 1917, I believe. The Dunn and Co Harris Tweed seems to be an older item as well.

A real treasure, Micheal.
Thanks H&R. It does have a nice darker shade to it. More so than showed in the photos, maybe.

Wow, what a gem. That would probably rank as my all time top find if it was in my collection.

Thanks,
Michael

The has has travelled with me, yesterday at the dusk and today an hour after the dawn

During the night the cold of October arrived with the temperature having dropped by about 8 Celsius

The harvest is in progress and yesterday the air was full of gnats which are the sign that the grapes are ripe

In a few days we will smell the aroma of grape must in the air and it will definitely be autumn

Today....a rare early morning outing for me. A good opportunity to break in a jacket and sport the already broken in Disney Camel Hair.
A happy birthday for my oldest daughter in Houston that i dearly miss. I got her a couple days early for a birthday present once. Best gift ever!
Be well. Bowen
O my goodness, Bowen. I don't know what to say actually...

Damn Son, you are really moving up in the world! Impressive.

Forever young Alan. Such a lovely color.

Very nice Rainbow Bob. Love the textured ribbons on this line of hats.

It has been quite a journey Bowen. I think my pins in my hand are starting an infection. Crazy pain. It helps to select a soothing hat to make it all better. I think today calls for a 1950s fedora.

Love the Titan always. That Peschel has some interesting details. Good to see you.
Thanks, Mike. Great to have you back. Infection now, eh? That sucks! If that is your third mishap, you still have a chance for the Cristmas lights though (trying to look at the positive side here).

A very cool morning here. Long hair Charles Knox started the day.

Excellent hats, Stefan. The Barbarisio really catches the light in your picture. The Peschel is more to my liking though. The deep color and wide ribbon, combined with the suede finish, give it outstanding presence.
It might make my Stagecoach hop from foot to foot and saw, "Aw, shucks, boss."

Thanks, H&R. That Peschel took me longest time to get it to behave, but it has finally founds its place.
