Needed a vintage Borsalino tie to show off this stingy brim vintage Peter Bros. Found this hat at an antique shop in the Fort Worth area. I'm not a big fan of 2" stingies, but made an exception due to the excellent condition and the fact it's a Peter Bros. ;)

I can see why you didn't walk away from that one, Ken. The short brim suits just as much as your usual wider brims. Nice look.

Thanks Steve. I loved that monster homburg you had on recently. Monster.

Thanks Stefan. I finally have this one sort of combed into submission. Well, at least I did yesterday. Looking at it now under the increasing humidity I see it's gotten a little wild again. Ha ha. Great Peschel that you had out. That is such nice felt.

Champ Genuine Suede Finish is not very successfully dodging raindrops here this morning

Presumption: 1. an idea that is taken to be true, and often used as the basis for other ideas, although it is not known for certain.
I should have asked what was behind your your unexplained twenty years ago. No other context came to mind.

The weather is too beautiful and the temperatures are too high for the end of September
PenKent 3R.jpg

Today a hat that has been completely renewed by Fleur of Penumbra hat
PenKent 5R.jpg

Made in Italy in fur felt, without lining and with a very "Italian" shape it ha a too normal look, so it left for Netherlands...
PenKent 1R.jpg
This is the renewal with a new shape, the lining and a new ribbon
PenKent 7R.jpg
More to come in "post new hat here"
I sincerely thank you for your appreciation and likes, I cannot do it ad hominem, but you are really kind

Thank you buddy. I have to admit, I cheated. I used the stuff from JoAnns that when you heat it with an iron, it sticks the ribbon together! Then I just stitched it at places I thought would hold it. I didn't sew it to the hat, just slipped it down on it.
Good plan. Easy to change out if the mood strikes you.
