Wow, that is an amazing color!
There may be people with more hats, Eric, but I believe you have the widest variety of hats...and all spectacular.

Thanks sir. I appreciate your comments on my most recent pics. I have been working my way thru hats that have not gotten worn in a long while. I brought to the fore front of my "hat rack" some of the hats that are idle during my neighborhoods hotter months. They are getting spiffed up ready for cooler wearing opportunities.

I look to an Allan, Robert, Steve as well as many others for breadth of selection hats. Steve wins any contest of non-American hats. I do enjoy this thread. Over the years I have been picking and choosing what threads gets my attentions. Enjoy seeing your hats and all the others. Thanks again.

Rain sprinkles are the follow-up to yesterdays rain. Infrequent drops this morning from the skies. Drops are more frequent from all trees and shrubs. My Mallory Dallas sheds the rain like a champ. The felt-the felt, did I say the felt is dynamite.

Oops. At my house plumbing repair is needed this morning. The resultant trip to the hardware store this morning had me wearing a VS Executive (silverbelly beaver felt with gill ribbon treatment).

Repair successful. Sink is good to go!
That VS is more than good to go to the hardware store, Eric. The gill ribbon treatment is really eye-catching as is the silverbelly look. I just so want to feel that beaver felt. It looks so soft and tactile. I bet it turned heads along the way.

Hey all!
This Pantropic Panama isn't fancy nor fine, but it does have a decent weave and a good wide brim. And, it was made in Sebastopol CA, not too far from my town. Tne straw on the brim was starting to get dry and crackly sounding when flexed, so I tried a slathering of vegetable glycerin on it, and it seems to have done the job nicely.

Plus, it goes well with this Cooke Street Hawai'ian shirt that I scored thrifting a couple days ago. :)
Have a great day!

My first thought was to say, it goes well with the shirt, but you beat me to it by your end comment, John. Anyway, nice hat and nice shirt. Is the ribbon truly green? If so, nice touch.
