Thanks Stefan. The felt is soft and likes to do what it wants to. I more or less leave it at that. Seems to work. You had a great bunch of hats on show yesterday. Actually, a couple of great bunches of hats.

Thanks Steve. I got the easier parts of the tree taken apart. Now I'm down to the have to think before acting part.

Had a bit of thunder earlier and then it dried up. Marathon

Today.....i’m showcasing this, too small for me RD OR in a color i don’t think i’ve ever seen before. If it fit i’d never let it go but it’s destined for someone who can appreciate it more so bye bye.
I’ve always admired the felt and especially the color of it and today i realized why. This hat felt and color is the spitting image of a Borsalino Featherweight in the color Bismuto that i enjoy so much. Last pic shows both together.
Be well. Bowen
Very nice hats both, Bowen. Bismuto is a great colour.

whoaaa. So I'm sure there are differences and I of course have many black leather jackets and many blue denim jeans, but how do you chose which one you want to wear? What's the deciding factor? I'm curious

I have the Borsolino in my place, I'm going to try it with different outfits this weekend to see
I always have six to eight different hats out of the collection in rotation to wear and may try on a few to see which one fits the rest of the outfit best. Not all of the similar hats like those grey homburgs are in the rotation at the same time. After a month or so the current rotation makes way for a new bunch of hats. Favourites come and go.

Yesterday this Borsalino Ludoela forced itself upon my head. Seemed to belong there.

Our good friend and fellow lounger Mike @Redfokker sends his regards to all of you. His work for the theatre but especially his back problems are keeping him away from the lounge at the moment. He is looking forward to returning soon. I have this pic of him wearing his bowler, which he uses as a stagehand at the theatre.

Thanks for the update on Mike. I realized how long it’s been and I sent him a PM a couple days ago but never heard from him. Back problems are terrible, but it’s good to know it’s not something worse.

Well, I don't see where you posted anything out of line.

Nothing sad, no health issues, he just decided it was time.

Okay. I'm not sure why it prompted a fire sale, but I wasn't there. I'm sorry about the foot on the throat crack, which didn't come off in the jocular way I intended. I hope we can start afresh.

Again, no apologies necessary. I understood the remark to be humorous, and took it as such.

And believe me, moonie can take a little abuse without too much damage.

Thank you sir and it's good to post again. I just got busy and you know how that goes doing all that grown up stuff and forgetting your true joys!

I've been wear AO aviators since I was in high school. I think this pair is 12 + years old. They are an unbeatable quality and were a great value at around $50 a pair. I was looking into some polarized lenses and apparently they have doubled in price for the regular lenses and are around $130-$150 for polarized.

I bet you didn't put up any resistance as the Ludoela forced itself on your head, Stefan [emoji4]. Really suits you.
Sorry to hear about Mike's back. Hope he gets better soon and is able to start posting again.

I think it appreciated the bath. And I didn't wear it while I was chopping up tree parts.

That one is a real beauty. Super choice.

Today it's a Champ Kasmir finish.

That is a beautiful straw, Jim. I didn't get any of Anthony's straws, only felts. There weren't any left. I know that Bill bought at least one I now envy.
