Hehehehe...I always wear my sunglasses over any hatband I have on the hats. Will it self-confirm w/o the ammo hatband, which oddly resembles sun glasses.
So you can't see the ammo hatband in the pics, but this is what it looks like...

Hahahha....
From the mild research I've done, it was a sweatband marketing ploy used by resistol to sell more hats. Supposedly, their leather sweatbands were made so specially that they would mold themselves to the users head shape within 3 wears and be more comfortable than any other hat.

Depending on the caliber of ammo (if you fill the band) & the sunglasses, over time the added weight will cause the brim to droop & become wavy. I learned that after putting a thick leather band with big Alpaca silver conchos around a Stetson Gun Club yrs ago. Just a little bit of weight over time will change the brim.Feeling brown today, from head to toe.

Thanks Greg. Actually they are Corrals. Very comfy.Perry, the way this thread has been going this morning, throwing up a cross is a good idea, especially on a boot.
Thanks for sharing something not often seen. Great color. Liberty's?
