Sounds like an emergency! Good thing the weather permits re-stashing. The Brent looks cool!Hey all!
The nice weather is holding, so out in this Brent "The Airlite" I go. Running low on important supplies...the Funyun stash is nearly depleted.
Have a great day!

Chilly here again. Donegal tweed for me!

Gorgeous looking felt, Dennis.Wore the Gary White custom made mink and beaver to church today. "It is my one weakness". That's a line from an Amazon movie series called "Lark Rise to Caldleford". I love the show. It has more hats in it than you can stand. Very creative hats, men and women. A great show if you want to relax and marvel too.

The next haul may result in the first full hat transport charter flight in aviation history! Work to do, Max! Great pics.Back in civilization from the Texas wilderness.
I was able to sail right through Customs with my 42-hat booty, and am now on my way home from the airport to unfurl my tightly packed hats.
The pics are of Juan Carlos, Ana's brother, Silvia, his girlfriend, and her 4 year-old grandson, Ashten. Cute as a button, that kid is. Half Tibetan, half Mexican. Quite a combo, and a hybrid vigour demo.
Ana is wearing my new to me Churchill 100, I'm in my Knox, and Ashten doesn't know better than wearing a baseball cap yet, but I mean to educate him ASAP.

Thanks, Michael. So do I actually. There's a guy in Mexico who thinks I don't like green hats; silly idea! Thanks Doug. Love that blue Disney you are wearing today.
Thanks Stefan. That's me, like to stay in the background.
I really really like that color combo.
Thanks Dm101. I think the vent holes are original. It's a National Park Service uniform hat from the 50s or perhaps early 60s. Not sure exactly when Stetson stopped making Nutria Quality hats. You did a good job on reshaping the brim on your Resistol. Looks good.
Thanks Bowen. I got lucky with this hat. Nobody but me wanted it when it came up for auction. I've been wearing this coat a lot this winter.
Thanks Jeff. Great Optimo for you today. I've been out shoveling twice today. I'm hoping it will quit snowing soon. Fortunately it's light and fluffy. And looks so nice.
Thanks all,
Michael
Spectacular, Bill. Love the constrasting brim binding.Today turned into a two Stetsonian day. Beige for services this morning and brown for evening services. I just got this back from VS Custom Hats yesterday.

Stellar hat, Eric. Wonderful shape an the colours are spot on.I agree. Over time I have drifted to the flatter, broader brimmed fedoras. If this trend continues, soon I will be in the western hat brim arena.
Thanks Perry. Your hat, shirt, tie, sweater combos have been killing it lately.
This morning I was outside stacking wood in a Gannon fedora (granite and charcoal trimmings).
Best, Eric -
Excellent hat, Mike. Hang in there for a little while longer! One more day of floor construction, then painting of the bedrooms the rest of the week. We should be able to move back in over the weekend. It has been quite an experience, and we didn't even have to tear down any walls for this remodel. Another large load going to Goodwill this morning, wearing a grab-and-go Resistol 880 from the late 1950s.

Failsworth are a good maker. They specialize in caps these days, but once held the license for Stetson for the UK.Harris Tweed Flat Cap 8 Piece Newsboy by Failsworth. I'd like to find another with a leather sweatband, but this is a good hat.
Yep!Now that hat's got character!
It's important, and helpful, to have a well trained hat.View attachment 156987 View attachment 156988 View attachment 156989 View attachment 156990 View attachment 156991 View attachment 156992 I woke up to a white surprise today. Beautiful!
My yard hat, 2007 Stetson Packard. I’ve just about got this hat trained now...
Hahahaha.Superb Stetson suits senior stature, Sir! Steur sits stumped, stuck...
