That's a slick looking lid, steur. But then again, you're always sporting some nice lids.

Yes I generally do that on difficult hats. And just like that it’s more blue. But I don’t like having to do such things.

Finishing up Bespoke Week with my 1913 inspired, "The Olcott". This homburg brimmed, tight pinched center dent design was matched to an image I found in the OSU Archives. One of my most inspired hats by Mike Miller.

Almost finished with this Resistol Westerner refurb and conversion. I have to find some matching 3/8 ribbon for the brim binding and to make up an OR style hat band. In the meantime, I'm wearing it with this temporary 2 ply thin ribbon that's not attached. I'll have more in the conversion corral later...

Thanks Stefan. The staining on the ribbon is one of it's lesser problems. The sweat is rapidly nearing the point of total disintegration.

I'm really liking these hats. The fit is great (hard to find a 7-1/4 LO) and the styling fits my sense of propriety. I may get another in dark brown.

Love that Bat Masterson, this is my poor man's version I fixed up awhile back. It's a Baily western homburg with a 5 1/4" crown and 3" brim.

Good looking Bailey, Ken. I’d never heard of the Bat Masterson until I saw it on eBay. The hunt for new and different hats is part of the fun.

Nice color. That's what I like about Bailey. They offer a lot of different colors. Enjoy retirement. I've been retired for so long now if anyone asked me to work I would tell them to go to H*ll.

Sometimes Mother Nature's light needs a little help when viewed through a camera lens. Sure is a great color.

Thank you, Mike. I'm glad you noticed that. I like to use that style of crown and crease, along with the pinch and dents specifically on my OR style conversions.

Nice blue color.

Bailey Coeburn. Very stiff hat with a 3 inch flat brim. The color is a blue black swirl so it seems to shimmer. The band is suede.
