Ok..so i’ve been here once already but i’m sitting here waiting on my Son to come home, tail between his legs, cause i heard he got to “go downtown” last night, so to speak.
So, i’m having me some 40s waiting!!
This one came from Tim, @Canerodmaker, and it is as near perfect as a hat can be!!
It puts the “C” in claylike and cool without even trying. Thanks Tim!!

Love the colors on that hat! Those tones are among my very favorites.

Stetson No.1 Quality, with new sweatband by Black Sheep Hatworks.
I was once advised perhaps this hat is a 1940s vintage. Cameo by the lady friend, who, indeed, always wears it better!

A trip to the local Home Show this morning. I fear the wife is going full on bonkers with some home improvements. Hückel Chamois from the late 1950s One of those hats you love to touch, such a finish. Originally sold at U. Feil in Stuttgart, where my Mercedes is from, appropriate since Eleanor turned over 100K yesterday. My girl is reached a milestone, just a baby in Benz terms.

Cool this morning so I grabbed a Royal Stetson back bow fedora that, unfortunately, doesn't get worn much. A nice hat that deserves to be in a rotation, somewhere. I may list this in the Classifieds... or not. Now I'm liking it all over again!

One of the most wonderful back bows on the Lounge Doug. I wish it fit me. That two tone ribbon really twists my cookies.

Hat and cap day today. Early morning I headed out in a donegal tweed flat cap made by Damian Monsavais.

A vtg.Stetson Startoliner was my hat for a lunch with my brother. My Irish sweater was needed to be comfortable eating outside at the cafe. Cool day today.

For watching the large buteos (large broad wing hawks) circling our lake a vtg. Stetson Whippet was my hat choice.

Starting a wood fire in the fire ring I am wearing a Gannon Wanderer (inspired by Stetson Wanderer) in a bone hued beaver felt.
