Today.....again continuing on in the big black hats i don’t wear because i look dumb and don’t have the stones to wear them theme.
Stetson No.1 stars and a red bow.
However, a story must be told!
Just now....a smokin hot neighbor’s daughter with legs to the moon walked by and piped up “i love how you’re rockin that hat Bowen”! Hell’s bells i hollered up “come here” and threw it on her for size. She’s a 10 i mean a 73/8 and she said we should have a hat tea party. She wears hats. Sucker i am, she will be getting a hat. Lol
Oh crap, her Mom just walked by, like i said “too the moon”!! I think i died and went to heaven!
This is why i sit on my porch!!

That's some story to go with some hat, Bowen. The best I get is elderly ladies complimenting me wearing a hat like their father used to wear! Then again: I don't have a porch...

I love the summer, I love high temps. Luckily though, the end of summer and the beginning of autumn means felt time. The temperature dropped below 20°C today, so it was a good opportunity to wear this ca. 1950s Peschel Chevret. Haven't worn it for a while, and it's one that deserves head time.

O yes. It still has my heart racing!

Mercury Imperial today. This is a perfect example of how my custom band blocks can stretch a 57 into a 58.5 without distorting it or tearing the sweatband. I just use plenty of Pecard Antique Leather Conditioner a couple of days before I put it in the block, and then when I am about to start. Then after a couple of weeks, voilá!
