Today......i’m wearing a very special invisible hat.
It’s the hat of gratitude that can not be captured by photo.
Words belie it’s description.
To know what this Lounge is and means, beyond all the fluff, so to speak, comes the voice of friendship and brotherhood that we take for granted until a hand reaches across the void and hands you a gift that redeems much of what’s wrong in this world.
The loving kindness of a heart speaks boldly here amongst us and we are so very fortunate to be a part of it.

Update on my progress day two. Lots of surgery site pain this morning, I took some pain meds and they seem to be helping right now. My night was kind of broken up by having to get up to pee about every 45min to an hour. This was not expected, hopefully that will settle down. Today may be a tough one, Patty is taking good care of me though. Love you all for the kind words and prayers, they really help. Probably won't be wearing a hat today, bummer. I got out my silver Borsalino to sit with me. Still need to come up with a proper use of this beauty. Maybe on a fancy cane? View attachment 180516 View attachment 180517

Quite cool this morning, but sunny and nicely temperate this afternoon. This quality post-Stetson merger Mallory has such nice felt. A factory teardrop crease is nice once in awhile, right!? Very comfortable on the noogin', and stylin' to boot!

Some really nice hats today gents. So let me throw a changeup here. My 70'-80's 5X Resistol. Not great quality but I like it just the same. Cool today on the Northern Plains, 50's this morning, so I had to wear long sleeves.
