Decided to wear the NW Hats Whippet clone in Granite today. This is going to be a grab and go custom I think.
38 to 42 depending.Awesome outfit Michael, what size coat you wearing these days, I may have something right up your alley.
Dang that's nice, Red. The ribbon looks sort of maroon in one photo and rust in the other. Which is it, or something else altogether?Decided to wear the NW Hats Whippet clone in Granite today. This is going to be a grab and go custom I think.

I can't believe I'm wearing short sleeves and straw on October 8.I agree, you are a "Knox Man". Beautiful.
Great look with that shirt.
One final straw sighting for the season? Nice one Perry.
Great looking St. Regis Richard. Love that brim binding.

I do like the way you think Rock!!So I guess we could deduce from your blind test of the Lee, and the fact that Lee started making hats for Disney in ‘43, that is the reason for the Disney felt of the 40’s to be so sublime.
Ha ha, thanks Perry. I picked up these '60s LL Bean tattersall pants off of the costume rack at Goodwill the other day and figured that today's 80 degree temperatures would probably be my last opportunity of the season to try them out. The rest of it just kind of fell off the rack.Super look Michael.
That is odd light, not a hint of blueberry. Stellar suit jacket.Mirtillo is looking awfully black on this Borsalino Leo today.

The granite felt is really a chameleon. It can change colors in different light. The details are in a nice maroon/wine color.38 to 42 depending.

Great look.Grey Matador today with a coat for basically the first time in a long while as it’s only 46 degrees today!
Under the best of lights my eyes see it more as black than blue. But in the sun my camera usually sees it as blue. With today's clouds, strictly charcoal. Wish the pants had been there when I picked up that jacket a month or two ago. Big shouldered Armani heyday there. That is odd light, not a hint of blueberry. Stellar suit jacket.

Unusual for this time of year, but I'll take it.Ha ha, thanks Perry. I take it that the straw hat there means you are seeing the hot weather too.
Thanks,
Michael

That is odd about the color. As I recall... the blueness of yours is very subtle. Mine is pretty darned "blueberry" as it should be given the name. I wonder if the way that it was taken care of before it moved in with you affected it's color or if there was some screw-up with a dye batch.Mirtillo is looking awfully black on this Borsalino Leo today.

That is wonderful, Daniele.Uncertain Monday, some ray of sunshine and passing clouds
Flechet "Pilote" Impermeable, without lining, no other indications about typr and color
It is another of the French hats with a particular felt, called here on FL heather
As his brothers worn in these weeks has a very soft and malleable felt, the color is astounding.
It is a blue-celestial with tiny white insertions that varies according to the light
The ribbon is like the others very imaginative and a touch of unpredictability
A special thank you for the likes of last week. I am grateful
