Fantastic Borsalino, Eric! The Qualitá Finissima is not seen that often. Not a lightweight, but a Feather Weight. The cool (57'f) morning found me wearing a Borsolino Featherweight fedora. This morning I was out and about in a Borsolino Feather Weight felt. Truly light weight felt in the way of the vintage Borsolinos.
The pouncing is nearly perfect in the felt is even density and characteristics. The variegated material behind the leather sweat, in the front of the hat, makes it fit like a dream. It wears light on the head.. The ribbon has the original basting stitches. Lovely attributes to this light weight felt.
Best, Eric -
Wonderful, Steve. Failsworth done right by Stetson for sure.I wasn't going to post this one I wore today. After seeing all the wonderful genuine Stetsons from you guys, I almost felt embarrassed about my "faux" English ca. 1960s (Manchester) made Imperial Stetson that I bought at the beginning of the summer.
However, though not a true Stetson, there's nothing to be embarrassed about a Manchester made hat. So here it is.
Works well with brim up or down, imo.

Suits you well, Brent. Nice swooping brim and these ribbed ribbons are great.Beaver Brand 3X:

Fabulous, Doug! Both hat and jacket.Cool and misty here this morning so I grabbed a Saville Row silk jacket and my Gannon natural with slate ribbon and Belgian bound brim.

This old rag today.

O yes! Doesn't get much better than that, Jim.A break in the heat has me digging deeper, as it opens the way for some heavier felts. This is easily one of my nicest finds over the years.
Mallory XV, nice high crown, Cavanagh edge, beautiful felt that fits like a dream.

Very nice, Scott. Why am I so tempted to put a deep center dent in your hats?I'll join Jim today with a Mallory. Dimensions of a "Dallas" but no designation.

LOL, must be the tall crown Stefan.Very nice, Scott. Why am I so tempted to put a deep center dent in your hats?
Thank you Steve. That is a real nice Mallory too, Scott. I particularly like the way the obvious green hue of the ribbon and bow bring out the subtle green hue of the felt. Great hat.
