Looks like a Milan weave in a boater shape/style. I really like these as they look softer and lighter than the layered weave boaters.

Thank you. When you start looking at boaters you are struck by the diversity of straws and weaves that were used when this style was all the summer rage.

It was siesta time, actually. If you get to a restaurant after 3.30, there is no service until 6 pm! Really weird. And they look at you like you are from another planet if you ask if the restaurant is open.
