Years ago I selected this Stetson leghorn straw that had been inspected and rejected from the factory store. I've never been dejected about it. (name that tune!) c.1938-1941

That cap is nothing short of amazing!!!

Thanks. Jump on this bandwagon and you will not be disappointed. I wore it only for a few hours this morning and it is amazing. Still under the new straw cap rainbow.

WOW! I’m sold.

Brent it covers so many head gear wearing needs! Check out this one and some of the others already ordered.

Very impressive, Eric. What a unique cap!

Thanks sir. It does add a special something to a never filled category on my hat rack. Unique is a perfect description. For me, it will find many wearings during warm weather.

The mind boggles when considering the artistry and work that must have gone into making that cap. Beautiful!

Agreed. I have it sitting out and the architectural structure made with the woven natural material is so darn eye appealing.

Mine was ordered a few days ago. That abaca straw sounds awesome, and looks great!

Congrats! It has been a long time since my hat/cap purchases have turned out to be this amazing. I hope it arrives quickly.

You've got us all wanting one now, Eric. Can't wait to see pics of it on your noggin. Have a good trip btw.

Thanks. This cap is readily available for a price well under a spiffy straw hat and yet covers so many wearing needs well.

Thanks to all for the "likes" and comments.

Best to all, Eric -

Greetings All:
Today...in spite of the 91 deg temp and smothering humidity i couldn’t hold off with my recently acquired VS from a generous fellow lounger. Thank you @Ordinary Guy, Harry, for one very special hat. I know you’re missing it!!
I don’t have the superlatives to do justice to this hat. It’s just plain Art!! in black cherry!
Now i know what the big deal is.
Be well. Bowen

Crazy day, started the cool morning in my 50's era Playboy. As the day warmed I kept thinking of Bob H's awesome Half Breed and
got a wyld hair to go see David at Texas Hatters. Went to order a "Half-Breed" pecan beaver mix with a coffee stained ventilated panama. Couldn't leave without a cheap palm and a ballcap. Rest of the hot day in the new palm.

Absolutely gorgeous. I can’t understand why Winchester changes the color of black cherry. Art has a few glacier bodies left.... ;)

Bowen, words fail me in saying how nice that one looks. I can only say, nice, so nice, so fantastically nice. Congrats.

Nice looking straw Bob....maybe you saw in my earlier post, but I couldn't hold back after seeing that beauty you had on yesterday, I drove over the Texas Hatters earlier today and ordered me a "Half-Breed" Dang....I have no self control. lol

Thanks Ken! What fur/straw/color combo did you go with for the Half-Breed? The only thing I would change on mine would be a semi-colado Panama crown ... and a bit more ovalized. Can't wait to see what you and Manny came up with!
