Love the look. The coat is spectacular! It reminds me of one Hugh Fraser wore on Poirot:

Darn Reggie: i was hoping you were picking up a nice Orvis 6’6” Flea (bamboo please) fly rod for hat trade bait!! Darn!
B

You know, B. I love to fish, but I am a spin cast angler. I never delved into the world of fly fishing. I respect it a lot and I have a couple friends who travel all over the country to do it. I just do not need another vice/distraction to occupy my time and money. Taking up fly fishing could get dangerous. That’s why I don’t play golf anymore, but they did have some awesome rods and reels!

No camping. Just checking out some of the sale items and killing time while waiting for my wife.

I wonder how many years of his life the average man in every country on earth spends waiting for his wife.

That warning should be included in all wedding ceremonies:
"And do you, Max, promise to wait patiently for Ana for hours on end while she is busy spending your hard-earned money, or getting ready to leave for a party or event you will always arrive late to?"

If your wife tells you she will be ready in five minutes, she is of course absolutely correct. There is no need to remind her every half hour.

Thanks Scott. it was a tough choice, I like both of those hats. But in reality I ended up spending most of the day under my Amish straw hat as it was nasty muggy out.

Why am I not surprised. Ha ha.

All great hats and looks. I can see I really need a blue Hanover Square to keep my Marathon company.

Thanks,
Michael
If I find another in any colour at a decent price, I won't hesitate. Thanks, Michael.

J.Hückel´s Söhne "Flexible" possibly later 1930s. The felt is really fantastic. Could be Wild Hare + Smooth Finish. Just all around fantastic. Click On Photos!

It's highly possible that JHS came up the hanging cord. My only pre WWII examples are JHS.

"All around fantastic" sums it up nicely, Steve.
