After seeing Rodolfo's navy Gannon on the lounge yesterday it prompted me to bring out mine. Navy Gannon with a bow feature to honor my Alma Mater. Black and bronze (orange) for the Beavers! Full 6" crown may just be a little too tall, have to do some reshaping.

Wearing my unlined, unmarked, I-am-pretty-sure-it-is-a-dobbs-because-it-was-found-with-another-dobbs-with-the-same-sweatband-markings 7 1/8 LO hat today.
I will take it to Ignacio to be reblocked to my weird-shaped skull with a conformer this afternoon. It really is a beautiful hat with an excellent felt. Ignacio does it while I watch, for 32 dollars a hat. Well worth it. [emoji2]

Frankly, Max, your conformer profile is unusually symmetrical. Most look weirder than that.

A hat identical to this one is currently available on eBay, though in a 7 1/2. In addition to asking for quite a bit for the hat, the seller has also displayed a photo of a couple with the man wearing the hat, and it is presumably from the 1930s. So, if true, this one's several years older than I originally imagined. It also gives credence to my World's/America's Finest dating theory. Incidentally, the hat in the auction has a felt ribbon, as did this one until I replaced it with this mid-ribbon last year.

This one’s color and ribbon contrast remind me of a Flagship. Quite nice!!

What better way to avoid wrestling a big white hairy dog for a bath then to post up a big white hat.
I don’t believe i’ve ever thrown this one out here before. This one’s owner knew a good crease, i think. I wouldn’t dream of changing a thing. He must have known Bama.
Stetson No.1, star sweat, maple liner with plastic and a pic of why some people should not wear a brim up on some hats!!

Today is a day for blessings. I wore a favorite go to synagogue hat from Saks. 37 years ago today, my partner of 45 years and I had a small ceremony with friends. She also wore an outfit from Saks.
