What Hat Are You Wearing Today ?

What exactly is a "farmer's market"? Is it a market set up on the street with improvised stalls, like they have in Mexico, or is it just the name of a regular supermarket chain?

It's a communal gathering place with stalls, not a supermarket. In this particular city it's a dedicated building that functions year round where local farmers and vendors can sell their goods. The summer/fall is much better and extends outside as well. The pickings are kind of slim during the winter time since most of the produce is out of season, but there are still meats, bakeries, flowers, etc. They were doing a special craft and vintage show today. Sadly, no hats to be found.

Other farmer's markets that I've been to in other U.S. cities have been completely outside or more of a makeshift setup. The best ones I've ever been to were in Europe, but I guess that wouldn't necessarily be farmer's markets. The market is part of everyday life, not a special event/location held once or twice a week as is typical with a farmer's market.

Redfokker, just got home from being out and about all day. I got my hat from fashionablehats.com and they sell several different brands including Walrus and Stetson.
It is 100% Australian wool.

Second hat of the day. Gordon Somerset Quality, Genuine Hare's Felt.
One of my favorite hats. I bought this one for its beauty, and to find out if a hat made of hare felt could be as nice as one made of beaver. It is.

We braved the snow today and went to the somewhat local Red Robin for lunch. I wore my Knox 15 wide brim beauty, Sandra wore her little black pill box hat with the faux fur brim and daughter brought along a little Royal Stetson.

A waitress from an area next to us came over and said, "I'm not your server, but I wanted to say how much I love all your hats!" Nice.

Today...it’s a tissue like lightweight Borsalino. This one is probably the thinnest most pliable felt of all my hats. Borsalino really got it right with these.

Looking good Doug. I just happen to be wearing very similar colors (fedora wise). This rainy day a olive colored Richman Bros got the nod. I got this from @bond a couple of years ago.
