Good day folks. Below are some hats I wore the past couple days.

VS fedora. It is a green moss beaver felt styled to be similar to a Whippet.

Heading out this morning in my favorite light green hat. A long oval 3x Stetson. Light mint green with rose ribbon and binding. The wind cord on this one has a mind of its own lol No mater how many times its gets snugged and smoothed the cord always gets wavy. Its got attitude!!

That is one gorgeous hat, Rick! I am infatuated with brim-binding (i.e., brim-trim) with matching ribbons. The patina on your ribbon just kicks it all up another notch.

It's still straw hat season in this early part of September.
Sisol Borsalino 1.jpg
Borsalino woven from Sisol or Sisal, depending on the various makers.
Sisol Borsalino 6.jpg
Size 60, finished with a very lightweight fabric sweatband.
Brim at 6 cm. and crown at 10 cm.
Sisol Borsalino 3.jpg
The hat was probably made in 1998 by Tesi, who often made "Panamas" for Borsalino.
Extremely lightweight and very easy to wear, even in scorching heat.

I confess that I've almost never worn it, for no particular reason, and I'm sorry.
Congratulations to all of you who keep this thread alive and well every day.

Today, I am wearing one of my Cavanagh fedoras with Cavanagh Edge. This one is peculiar for a couple reasons. First, the price tag label lists this as a "Blue Onyx" model but the color appears more brown/burgundy depending on the lighting conditions. Second, this hat appears to have a couple indicators of an exact sales date (09/14/1966).
