Two hrs into the warm muggy morning and I already had a sweat dampened shirt and a sweatty scalp. Time to move into a dry shirt and under a Hemp Stratoliner.

PH. Möckel Hutfabrik Homburg vor der Höhe, possibly pre WWI and in very good condition. PH. Möckel Hutfabrik (1806) made the original Homburg style hat for King Edward the VII of England. What is interesting is that PH. Möckel called all their hats "Real Homburg Hats". PH. Möckel Hutfabrik Homburg vor der Höhe went out of business in 1932. The brand was later licensed. I found this Stiff Felt back in 2012.

We hope to put our house on the market soon. Tina and I have been packing much away in preparation. Wouldn't you know? Pack away all my straw hats and the UK enjoys glorious weather.
Spectacular hats AND delicious looking food!! Woot!!

I'm going with The English Hatter, the Borsalino Ludosca, and the Penumbra, as my top three this week. Hope your travels were as awesome as your pictures, Stefan. Thanks!
Thank you, gentlemen. You're too kind.

Mr Moose had his pre op visit with the vet this afternoon.... vet was pleased with how the bloodwork looks better than a couple weeks ago. We are scheduled for his surgery first thing thursday morning. Barring complications he should be able to go home thursday afternoon... Then we just have to wait on the pathology results to see how serious his tumor is.... Positive thoughts for the Chocolate Brown flash are appreciated

My area in Minnesota is on the edge of the heat dome affecting mid USA. We are in the "ring of fire." The edge of the dome has pop up storms forecast for yesterday through the week. Heat, humidity and storms - jeepers. Yesterday evening a JC Penny "Genuine Panama" was my nod to the weather.

Sporting a Chocolate Lab Colored Champ Featherweight this morning. Had a call from the vet this morning to let me know they had a cancellation, and wanted to get Mr Mooses surgery done today. Took him in and surgery scheduled for 11am. He was in a good mood with tail wagging, but Im a bundle of nerves.

With all these recent rides over to the vet , Im hoping he doesnt lose his enthusiasm for car rides lol
