Congratulations, it looks fantastic!
It looks to me like you went for the vintage grosgrain ribbon. Is that the same Midnight Blue as mine, or a brighter blue? I was also pondering matching the brim binding to the ribbon on mine before opting to match it to the felt. I can see now that there was no wrong option. The other difference I see is that mine has a wind trolley. Admittedly, I’ll likely never use it, but I still added it just because I like the look.
Wear it in good health!

I was thinking it was Navy Blue, but midnight is probably correct. I did ask for a winf trolley, but I think it got lost in the process

I was just happy it arrived as I leave for Japan Thursday morning

Thanks for the inspiration. Hornskov makes a wonderful hat

Feels like a larger hat day for some reason. Nice bright day calls for a nice bright hat. This one is an American Hat Co 4x... (back when they were in Houston Tx) Im guessing from late 70's or early 80's. Sort of a western fedora. 5-1/2" crown, 2-3/4" brim. Came to me with no hatband.... good excuse for some ribbon work. Didnt want to go too large, but wanted enough ribbon to camouflage the crown height a bit. went with a 1" grosgrain with campaign bow. Was thrilled to see the nice condition when it came in. really like this hat.... now I need to figure out how to not get morning dew dropping of the roof to hit a hat EVERY time I step off the patio lol.

Thanks Timmy! I'll see your amazing victory homburg and raise you a big gator chomp! (I'm really not a huge devotee of any particular team - but I do have three degrees from UF so I feel entitled to at least a little pride.)

Royal Stetson Deluxe today after a sleepless night of excitement.

Enjoy your trip!

I blame my first Hornskov on Gary @The Shoe , too :)

I've got my second Hornskov in the works, so your Emissary is quite an inspiration, Rob.

Love the felt colour and contrasting ribbon treatment.

Gary is a bad influence for sure. (Kinda fits in with the rest of the crew)
Hehe. I need to talk to Peter about upping my commission!
