Perfect timing! Mailman arrived with the new Campdraft Deluxe just as a gap in the storms blew over.
Always an exciting moment when something arrives with a bit of box damage... but it all good inside View attachment 694639

Perfect weather for the RM Williams jacket and a new Akubra. Needed some dusting and will need a bit of steam to clean up a bit of brim and crown shaping ( front keeps snapping back up and it almost looks like it had a cattlemans crease), but Im happy. Love a taller brown hat. An I finally own a Heritage felt Campdraft!

Another stunning selection this week, Stefan. I'm going with the Borsalino Lupo in first, the Echter Mayser in second, and the Mossant in third. Thank you for another splendid Sunday.

The coming of spring means my wife is entering fanatical-gardener mode, which means I get used a lot for manual labor. That's in addition to all the "usual" on-going work involved in having moved to a 47-year-old house. However, I did manage to get out of the house/yard for almost an entire hour today,

and while out, I sported my newest older fedora.

It's an unnamed model tan Portis, with Swan's Down Finish, that, from labeling, price tag, and general styling, I'd estimate to be from the early to mid 1950s.

Shame you only got to wear it for an hour.

Always enjoy getting to see this Gannon.

Makes them shine in full glory. Thanks, Joe!

Thank you, Robert.

Whoa, what a thing. That's a hat and a half, Timmy!

And thank you for the likes.

Yum! Love this ribbon treatment, Jim.

Always love seeing that Ganon, Jim.

Can you get more powder blue than that? And what a superb ribbon and bow treatment!

THAT is a 5-star winner, Jim. BEAUTIFUL hat!!!!

Thanks, gents. Mr. Gannon definitely earned his rep with this one. I gave him a bit of a challenge on the bow treatment and he rose to the occasion.

Thank you, Robert. Very kind of you, sir.

Lady Tina is truly the most wonderful maker of bespoke clothing. I hope her recovery from her illness is progressing in an upward trajectory.

Love that tie, too, by the way!
Thank you Mark, your compliments and well wishes are gratefully received. Actually you, and others, make the lady smile. She likes The Lounge but is not one for engaging in social media.

You like my tie? Tina has a project up her sleeve. I'm not allowed to see but I know it's a pair of silver/grey trousers. The hat and tie are on standby to compliment those trousers when they come off her sewing machine.
