Looks like you got yourself along to Uniqlo!
The hat looks great. I’d love to expand my collection of Stetsons beyond the present one.

Thanks Gary! You are in the land of Japanese leather, I am in the land of American Stetsons. Perhaps we can shop for one another and trade the items!

The t-shirt is actually a cheap Walmart brand. I was in there doing my grocery shopping and picked this up for $5 out of curiosity. It’s actually okay, I think, and I might just buy a few more!

I like it. Definitely worth the extra clicks needed to see it.
Thank you. I don’t like the extra clicks much, but I can’t figure out how to get pics to post directly to the page. Since I upgraded my phone, this is how they’ve been. I think it’s because of the higher resolution.

If it is because of the higher resolution what you may want to try is…

after you select the photos you want to upload … before you click the add button. Select Options on the bottom left… then click Large instead of Full Size.

otherwise once the pics are uploaded and the thumbnails show up.. there should be a button for insert / insert multiple on each of the thumbnails.

I steamed a front pinch into my 1960s Akubra Stylemaster last night, and wore it today. I believe it originally had a front pinch (as do the modern Stylemasters), but the previous owner clearly held this hat by the crown pinch. The felt is so thin there, I wasn’t sure if it would hold the pinch. It seems to be staying in place and I prefer it this way. I didn’t get a picture during the day, so this is me wearing it when showered and ready for bed.

This hat is on my head for John's (moehawk) commitment and generosity.

Vimenet - made in Belgium, so says the stamping inside the crown, sold by Baskin in the US.

Something makes me think that the very light felt is, due to its color and consistency, of French origin, considering that I have various mid-season hats, unlined like this one that come from the West of the Alps.

What even more strengthens my opinion is its shape which reminds me of some French hats (made by J&B) from the 1920s and 1930s with short brims and a high, full-bodied crown.

However, thanks to John, it is now here with many of his countrymen.
John on the other hand will receive a French hat :)
