Looks great Don. I love the dressy casual look a pinch on an homburg can give. Something really need to do more often. (Though it is similar to going brim up on some of my soft felts)Switched to a Cavanagh for the evening.

Must feel quite special seeing your vision go through the creative process to completion. Thanks, Joe. I couldn’t be happier how it turned out. I think that under a cloud-free sky it will present as more of a sky blue. It’s a great color in any case.

Yep, I know exactly what you mean and thanks. Thanks, Reggie. I have a tendency to fall into a rut. There are some real gems buried in those boxes that need to be rotated out.
Loved your Gannon.
That’s a Boss hat Brent. Love it!

Yes, sir! He made it for me and he did a fantastic job! I’m back in his queue for several more too. Top tier work at fantastic prices…how could I resist? He has some projects in the works for other TFL members and he has some unclaimed felt hat bodies in stock for immediate orders. If you’re interested, the FEPSA in flagstone (blue-gray) looks terrific.

T. Is a hat magician. I’m glad to learn he is sharing his talents and has a hat business. I guess I’m going have to get in the queue, because I want one of those bad boys !Yes, sir! Stunner. Love the colour, and the colour combination.
What a transformation! Great job. Some really nice, clean hats lately!
Let’s fix that.
Today’s installment of Bob’s Beater Hats (TM) is a 1940s or early 1950s Royal Stetson DeLuxe Flagship after the first of what may be many attempts to clean it.
The non-Petersham ribbon version with an under-welt brim.
It may look rough, but at 7-1/2 LO I’ll take what I can get.

What a transformation! Great job.
Your beaters would take pride of place among my collection.
He was saying why is that guy taking pictures of himself in a hat.Taking photos of a few hats in one of my normal spots when I had a visitor:

This Coyote got within 15 feet of me which is very unusual. He eventually trotted off, but he never seemed concerned. Made me wonder if coyote fur would make a decent fur felt for hats…?
This hat is perfect Bob. Great cleanup transformation. Classic daily driver not a “no touch” trailer queen. Some really nice, clean hats lately!
