Nice teeth on that kid.I think Bob had the right idea today - a "beater" Peters Bros Shady Oaks. Mine has a date of 1932 written in it by Tom Peters. Had a dentist appointment today. He wanted to try it on so I snapped a picture.

I still get a charge out of that crease Bowen.View attachment 148789 View attachment 148790 View attachment 148791 View attachment 148792 Greetings All:
Some splendid hats have graced the lounge with regularity of late. Kudos all.
Today...it’s the Disney Camel Hair in a soft blue/gray. If ever a hat could equal or surpass the Borsalino Angora it’s this hat.
Be well. Bowen
I still get such a charge from that crease Bowen. The finish ain't no slouch either.View attachment 148789 View attachment 148790 View attachment 148791 View attachment 148792 Greetings All:

Excellent hat again, Daniele. I had a similar one slip through my hands once because the seller couldn't get the invoice right. Still bothers me, that.Gray day this morning, so I adjusted myself with clothing and hat
Cervo Bantam made in the heyday of the "Cappellificio Cervo" Sagliano Micca - Biella
Color is "M. Cenere" quality is "Loden" size is 60 cm.
The felt is a "misto" as it was called in Italy the mixture between furs and wool to have this kind of finish
The finishes and seals are top notch on this Bantam sold, ironically, in the south of Italy
Thanks a lot for the likes and appreciation of the last week
Notice to the loungers, do not confuse the Cervo Bantam brand with the Stetson patent of the same name
Here, to stay on topic one of the advertisements of the period
Homburg: check.Mallory Ten homburg in a rich brown color. Most likely this 'burg is mid 1950s. Wonderful vintage felt and appointments. It is supposed to be stormy by this afternoon, so my tan wool overcoat is also a must for today. This hat came to me via @mattbarnes, sure miss that guy!

Wonderful hat, Michael. Suede finishes are always great and this one has a nice understated felt ribbon.Keep looking and one will show up.
Great color on that Hanover, Max. I like that a lot.
Thanks Alan. That is a great Knox Twenty your are wearing today, and a mighty fine palette, too.
Thanks Stefan. The coat label says LodenCoat Made in Austria and that's it. Don't know if that was a brand or what.
Today a Champ Genuine Suede Finish

Magnificent, Bowen. Pretty cocky to challenge a Borsalino Angora, but it looks like it would make serious contender.View attachment 148789 View attachment 148790 View attachment 148791 View attachment 148792 Greetings All:

Lotta brim there, Max.Knox Forty and Ana's piñatas. Her anual posada is this Saturday. I will be glad the piñatas will be gone then, because I have been bumping into them for a couple of weeks.
