FantasticMy new Emko, which we're tentatively dating to the 1910's, just back from Randall rebuilding and upsizing, while keeping it 100 percent original.

Thanks, Brent, and everyone else. I simply left it up to Randall for shaping, and he said he wanted to make it look period correct.Beautiful hat and Randall did his usual great job on it. I really like how you have it shaped too.
Love the Mallory, Jim. But, oh my, that building and those lampposts do it for me everytime!Keeping with Perry's Texas city theme, a Mallory Dallas is today's choice.

Let's face it: nobody will ever make a hat like that again. best take good care of it, Steve.Max Weise Berlin, Stolzf. Lux. Velour made for Bernward Leineweber, Berlin C Köllnischer Fischmarkt possibly 1930s. I found this fantastic metal gray close cropped Velour back in 2017.

As good as it's going to get. Gorgeous.J. Hückel´s Söhne "Jota" "Seal Velour" possibly later 1930s. This is a dark metal gray close cropped Seal Velour. I found this one back in December of 2020. It was part of nine hat find.
A petting hat for sure. Outstanding, Bowen. Not just because I'm a Borsalino fanboy.Greetings All:
Today….out from under a rock and under a Borsalino MGL Ecosti in lovely Lino.
Such a peachy fuzzed felt.
Be well and safe

We could sure use another Simeon Zlateff haul for us afficionados here. Magnificent hat, Alan.Wartime era Bulgarian Borsalino from a stash that once was in good supply on eBay. It could use a new ribbon but is otherwise in very good shape despite its years of hiding in plain sight. I think of the young couple trying to escape Casablanca when I wear it. I only recently learned that the young woman, who was so believable in her performance, was the step-daughter of movie mogul Jack Warner appearing in her first on screen role.

Stefan, Thank you! I wish I could find another one.Let's face it: nobody will ever make a hat like that again. best take good care of it, Steve.
Stefan, Thanks again! As good as it's going to get. Gorgeous.
Class act Charlie!!!I sold a hat today. My Stack. Mixed emotions about selling were swirling in my head, but were put to rest as soon as I met Pete, the Stack (yes, Stack Hats!) family descendant in search of a piece of family legacy. I felt that in the case of a family member, the hat deserved to return home, but also, who would take better care of it than he? Nobody!
I wore a Borsalino for the meetup.
