Not really, no. You might even make the case for an exchange on this one. Or you can grab some 1000 grit sandpaper and finish off the edge yourself if you're feeling DIY. It really would be an easy fix.

I decided to call DelMonico Hatter and let them know and they’re sending a replacement with a return label. Two minute phone call. Very pleased with their customer service. Thanks for confirming the brim wasn’t right.

Today I grabbed my Deckard-designed Stetson Excellent Quality Stratoliner. I believe this was made early in the production run, as the execution of the excellent materials shows a learning curve issue that still irks me. But, like my wife, I still love it.
