Looks great! Now that you have an Akubra also, how do you feel it compares to your Agnoulitas?

The felts between the Akubra Imperial and those used by Mr. P for the Agnoulitas hare/rabbit seem to be similar quality along with the ribbons. There are some minor construction details where the Akubra is better and others where the Agnoulitas are better. I prefer the taller sweatbands and lack of plastic at the top of the liner for the Agnoulitas over those in the Akubra. I found both to be equally difficult to shape. I would recommend either one if someone were to ask. If looking for a hat in the approx. $180-$200 USD they should both be in the decision mix.Looks great! Beautiful—reminds me of Jack Nicholson’s hat in Chinatown.
Always impressive work, Terry! In the rotation for today, another of my conversions. This started out as a Brown 7 3/8 4X Stetson Long Hair Western. I believe this is one that @moon the Loon gave me about 3-4 years ago(?) This one I had to size down since I wear a 7 1/4 LO. It sports a tall vertical sided crown that's creased to my preferred Tear Drop. The black 1 5/8 ribbon and bow work came off of a vintage hat that a Lounger sent to me. The brim is 2 5/8. This Long Hair is one that I felt, (to me that is), would look better as a fedora rather than keeping it Western.

Happy New Year's to all here at the Lounge. I see you guys are looking great and representing how timeless and contemporary the art of the fedora is today.
