Stepping out tonight in this American classic. MacLachlan Beaver 15. Even the moth nibbles don’t diminish this felted edge beauty (that much anyway).

The 2 7/8 brim is slightly over my comfort zone for a dress hat. Brim up maybe give it a different feel

Wonderful MacLachlan, Joe.

Definitely a brim down on that beauty. It might be out of your comfort zone, but get used to it, it suits you.

Love the wide ribbon treatment.

This is my newish Stetson Open Road 6x in Fawn. Below is a short short that happened while wearing it the other day.

A student stopped me on the way out of school today to tell me that I had “fire drip.” after checking behind me to make sure some portion of me was not aflame, nor was I trailing any kind of liquid behind me, I asked him if that was a good thing? He said “yes” … so there! Those are my new adjectives “fire/drip.”

Keeps me up on the current ‘lingo’ which I like to use a lot (sometimes incorrectly) to embarrass the students.
