Thanks Joe.I am sorry for your loss Daniele. Beautiful hat.. she had good taste in hats
Wow. What a hat, Allen! An old Stetson Clear Nutria today that came to me from our friend Garrett. I find little information about the store where it was sold, other than many conspicuous advertisements for a "bankrupt sale" in 1921. The time would be appropriate for this hat, though perhaps it was a continuing sale like those camera and carpet stores in NYC... some of which were going out of business for fifty years.

She escaped the concentration camps when she was a child, but not at the age and flaws of life many years later

This is a hat she loved very much.

Flechet arrived unfinished, without some elements, the sweatband in the first place.

Finished with great care by Fleur of Penumbra Hats - Netherlands.
The hat has a slightly heathered felt tending to dark gray, very soft and malleable, finished with a short fur

Congratulations on your hats.
Perry, this must be the most time honored wood wall in the history of the Lounge. And you've barely aged. Remarkable consistency to go with your remarkable hats.
That Vogue, Eric! And the one-tone Royal Stetson….Your hats are always impressive but those two are head turners! Amazing.
David
